The application through the express entry first involves creating a profile in the system. Once you have secured a spot in the express entry pool, you can be considered for nominations by different provinces. If a province selects your express entry profile, you will be called to apply, which means an Invitation to Apply (ITA) will be sent to you.
The way it works is straightforward because the express entry system is already in partnership with the Federal express entry, which gives provinces access to possible applicants. Once a province gets interested in an applicant, they can nominate them to apply for a permanent resident visa.
