Studying in Canada allows you to work a maximum of 20 hours a week outside your campus
As a student, your spouses or joint–law partners are allowed to acquire an open work permit throughout the study permit.
After graduating from a Canadian school, you can apply for a work permit via the post-graduation work permit program. Through this program, your work permit can be given and allowed through the length of the study program or a maximum of three years.
Studying in Canada gives you the liberty to apply for permanent residency through Ontario’s PNP class once you finish your master’s degree from an Ontario-funded university.
Studying in Canada gives you the liberty to apply for permanent residence through express entry (skilled worker class or Canadian experience class) in Canada, as long as you have a one-year work experience under NOC code O, A or B of the national occupation classification.
